Reggae
|
Reggae goes back to the 60s where this genre originated in Jamaica. The music is characterized by it sedateness and its typical offbeat accentuation. The main instruments used are drums, electric guitar and bass, keyboards and vocals. Often added are brass instruments and percussions. Newer reggae styles such as Dancehall, Ragga or Reggaeton also make use of electronics like computers and samplers. |
