Jazz

Jazz is a very broad term. Developed around 1900 in the USA, Jazz has influenced almost every other genre since. The typical instrumentation consists of a drummer and double bass for accompaniment and added soloists, often saxophones, trumpets or pianos. However, other combinations and even complete Big Bands are not regularly seen. |
