Loud, booming basses, weird lead-synths are as much part of the genre as jazzy Rhodes chords, trumpet- and flute-licks and warm pads. While the instrumentation is versaitile, the beat is essential. Drum'n'Bass uses breakbeats between 160 and 190BPM. |
