Background

Get inside and maneuver drumloops like never before with Liquid Drums. Featuring new layer-based drumloop mixes coupled with the amazingly flexible Liquid engine grid. Building personalized, expressive grooves to match your tracks has never been so intuitive. Pull loops from a broad selection of styles and combine contrasting elements for an endless variety of tonal diversity. Surprise yourself by crossbreeding drum stylings with instant sync and turn standard acoustic offerings into pitch morphed electronic sounds with Liquid. All these drumloops offer layered and combined example loop options.

The Liquid Horsepower

The Liquid Matrix Editor is a modern marvel where you can stretch, shrink, re-pitch, delete and slide each of the notes in a loop. The Editor's settings are unique for each loop loaded into the keyboard. The currently selected note is displayed in the editor grid, making layers you wish to modify easy to track down. Boom, make your additional refinements from there and roll. Within the grid it's also possible to designate grid depth and snap to points. The Main Liquid Interface includes pitch, pan, volume, quantize and formant options for the entire loop which is currently selected. These settings can be different for each loop which is currently loaded into the keyboard. Scanning through the collection is simplicity itself, as innerfolder files are expanded into navigational columns. Drag the results in the last column onto your desired keyboard placement, or drag a whole folder at once.

Tempo
There is also a global tempo function which automatically syncs to your host and is adjustable. All the loops loaded will sync to this tempo instantly. Change the tempo to whatever you like, and all the sounds currently loaded will match up.

MIDI
